Barbie and Stila

Barbie has named Stila as its official prestige makeup sponsor to highlight the shapely icon’s golden anniversary in 2009.

Barbie Loves Stila, a limited edition of beauty cans and a talking palette for Spring, will precede a larger collection for Fall.

The inaugural collection features four Decades of Beauty Cans ($40 each) filled with Stila favorites to help recreate Barbie beauty looks of the past five decades.

Each unique palette has two eyeshadows and a cheek color or bronzer, as well as a lip product and a mascara or liner.
A booklet inside describes the beauty and fashion wardrobes for each doll.

Decades of Beauty Cans include: #1 Ponytail Doll (1959); Malibu Doll (1971); Foxy Doll (1980); and Jewel Doll (2000).
Additionally, Stila is launching a new talking palette to provide the Barbie look at the press of a button.
